I told this story a while back. Right after we were engaged, we visited Cassie’s mom at the First United Methodist Church of Voorheesville to share the news. I hadn’t been there yet, and she was so excited that she took us for a tour of “the church <we’re> getting married in.”
Cassie had one condition to having the wedding there, and that condition was that the pastor who served when she was there return to help preside over the ceremony. They were in contact, and he was happy to be involved.
I thought the church was a beautiful backdrop to our wedding, and I thought the pictures there came out great.
